The Burdell Ranch Wetland Conservation Bank

A FRESHWATER MITIGATION BANK LOCATED IN NORTHERN MARIN COUNTY

The Burdell Ranch Wetland Conservation Bank provides in-kind wetland mitigation credits to projects that are located in the San Pablo Bay watershed and are within a twenty mile radius of the Bank. Parts of Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Sonoma and most of Marin County constitute the service area of the Mitigation Bank.

WETLAND MITIGATION CREDITS
Mitigation credits for non-tidal wetlands, excepting vernal pools and swale complexes, are available from the Burdell Ranch with each wetland mitigation credit equaling 1/10th of an acre.

PURCHASING MITIGATION BANK CREDITS
Wetland mitigation credits may be purchased directly, or optioned for future purchase, depending on the needs and timing of the individual project.

AVAILABLE MITIGATION BANK CREDITS
As of January 1, 2008, the conservation bank has 120 mitigation credits remaining.
